Our Partnerships

A key pillar of our philanthropic work is a 21-year partnership with The Smith Family.

The Smith Family have been working to improve the lives of children living in disadvantage for over 100 years.

Prior to Futurity Education Foundation being founded, Futurity Investment Group had been supporting The Smith Family since February 2004.

Over more than 20 years of support across both Futurity and more recently, Futurity Education Foundation, an incredible $837,000 has been donated to support the life changing work of The Smith Family.

Each year the Foundation funds 70 Learning for Life scholarships which provide students in need with financial support for education essentials, as well as personal support and access to practical learning programs.

Yalari was established in 2005 to fund scholarships to boarding schools for Indigenous students from remote and regional areas. The program was founded by Aboriginal man Waverley Stanley and his wife Llew Mullins to offer a program that goes beyond funding tuition and boarding costs, they provide cultural support to help students who leave their country and their mob to pursue their education.

Futurity Education Foundation’s partnership helps First Nations students to thrive, champions student learning and well being and supports culturally relevant education, language and curriculum. The three year partnership commenced in FY24 and covers 2 school scholarships and 3 pathways scholarships for First Nations students to attend university.

Country Education Foundation of Australia (CEF)

CEF was founded in Boorowa NSW in 1993 when a group of community members came together to raise funds for students who could not afford post school training or further education. Since then CEF has grown to more than 40 local foundations across New South Wales, the Northern territory, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

Futurity Education Foundation are providing 6 three year scholarships to assist regional and rural students facing disadvantage to attend university. The scholarships assist with the costs of living away from home as well as textbooks and laptops.
